About Us

Heather has been dancing all of her life, & has over 30 total years of dance teaching experience. The first five years were spent teaching at Linda's School of Dance in Perry, IL. She moved out on her own from there, opening a studio in Mt. Sterling and has been teaching young people to tap & tumble ever since. This spring marks Heather's Tumble-N-Tap's 29th annual Dance Recital. 

The studio is located 1 mile north of Mt. Sterling (past the ballpark/pool) where a 100 year old barn has been renovated into the dance studio. Heather's Tumble-N-Tap has become a staple of the community. Her talented dancers will often be found performing at community events, talent shows, or local fundraisers. Her annual Christmas & spring recitals have become events enjoyed by hundreds of people every year. Heather is excited about the events that have shaped her studio into the establishment that it is, and looks forward to all the new experiences that will help shape the next 30 years.
